Google Apps for Education is a program that allows teachers to create a virtual classroom where students can log in to view assignments, save their work and respond to questions. Every student has signed into their Google Classroom during their computer time. Every new class has a class code.
Here are the steps for logging into Google Classroom. Google Classroom has not started.
Go to www.classroom.google.com or install the Google Classroom app
Your child will need to enter their username and password. These usernames will remain with your child throughout their entire school experience at SMS. It is not an active email account, but rather a way to log into the Google Classroom system. They will use the year that they will graduate from SMS along with first initial and last name.
Username: Example: 2032mjones@smsch.org
(2032 first initial last name)
Password: ilovesms (no spaces)
DO NOT CHANGE PASSWORD.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. This is a learning process and we will master this together. Thanks for your patience with your child the first few times that they do this at home.
**Please be sure that no one is logged into any google accounts (like gmail) when accessing the site. If any web page is open and logged into an adult google account, your child will not be able to access their account.**
