About Mrs. Moore

Hello! I'm Stephanie Moore and this school year marks my 13th in teaching. Before teaching at SMS, I taught 7th grade ELA  at Edgewood Middle School from 2010 to 2020. In 2020 I resigned from teaching to stay home with my children. I returned to the classroom, here at SMS, in 2024. My Bachelors degrees are in English Lit and Secondary Education and my Masters of Education is in School Improvement & Leadership.

I love Jesus, my family & friends, live music, reading, praying, and animals. I am grateful to be a part of the amazing SMS community and to work alongside my amazing 4th grade colleagues. Being a teacher here is the best!
