Students are expected to wear the appropriate uniforms as written in our school handbook. There should be no logos on the socks, and nail polish, make-up, and jewelry (except religious necklaces) should not be worn. Only SMS gym sweatshirts may be worn - no SMS spirit wear may be worn in class. Gym uniforms should be worn on gym days and sneakers should only be worn on gym days.
Our room parent this year is Mrs. LJ Limmer, Charlie's mom. LJ will help relay important information to you throughout the course of the school year. She can be reached at Laurajolimmer@gmail.com.
Students should bring a small "mess free" snack to school each day.
Students should bring a reusable water bottle with a flip top lid to school each day. Please be sure to label your child's water bottle with his/her name. Stanley-style water bottles that have exposed straws are not permitted as those often result in spills during class instruction.
Our lunch will be from 12:00 am-12:30 pm each day. Recess is at 11:40 each day.
Prepackaged food items may be sent in to share with the class on your child's birthday.
We will be attending Mass weekly as a school community.
All parents and family members must be Virtus approved to volunteer at school events. This includes activities such as helping out at lunch, class parties, field trips, field day, book fair, etc. This is an Archdiocese policy. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Jon Gerstmyer jgerstmyer@smsch.org. This process can take time, so please start early.
