Cell Phones and Electronic Devices: Students are required to have their cell phones with them at all times to ensure safety and access to directions while traveling throughout our destinations. However, phones and AirPods must be put away during meals, guided tours, and at our day serving with God's Pantry. A group text thread via WhatsApp will be established for trip-wide communication and important updates.
Dress Code: Students are expected to be in regular dress code throughout our week with the exception of Sunday and Thursday due to our travel schedule (they may wear sweatpants). During our trips to the beach, students are allowed to wear appropriate swimwear (think something that is appropriate for your teacher to see).
Identification: Students must bring their Saint Mary's school ID and it must remain on them at all times.
General Behavior Expectations: All policies and procedures outlined in the Saint Mary’s Student-Parent Handbook remain in effect during Enrichment Week. Any misconduct during the trip will result in immediate consequences and may also lead to disciplinary action upon return to Saint Mary’s (including, but not limited to, violations involving smoking, alcohol, drugs, or inappropriate conduct). In serious cases, students may be sent home at the family’s expense.
Hotel Rooms: Students will be assigned specific hotel rooms for the duration of the trip. They are required to sleep in their designated rooms each night and may not leave their rooms after the designated bedtime check, which will occur at approximately 10:00pm or 10:30pm.
Medication: Parents must provide all necessary prescription medications along with clear written instructions. Students are responsible for carrying and administering their own medications unless otherwise arranged in advance.
Health Forms: Chaperones will carry the health forms currently on file with Saint Mary’s. We will also collect copies of insurance cards and any additional medical information if it differs from what is already on file.
Illness or Injury: If a student becomes ill or sustains an injury, a chaperone will remain at the hotel with the student as needed. Parents will be notified promptly, and we will coordinate next steps in partnership with the family.
