Today in beat making, we learned about MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) and how to record with Apple Loops. We set up individual workstations and watched tutorial videos about Garage Band. We were then given time to explore the app and apply what we had learned to a song of our own. Later, everyone created a second song in response to the prompt “Make a Movie Soundtrack.”
