On September 7, join us from 3:15-4:30 in the Library Classroom for our first project.
The LMS Library building is closed until further notice. However, the Library Staff will be offering virtual Pop-up Maker opportunities via Zoom. Please view those emailed invitations in your smmk12 account. Happy Making!!!
The status of our Pop-up Makerspace Club is also uncertain for the 2020/2021 school year. Please reach out to Ms. GGMc if you have DYI ideas that can be posted here. The time it takes to teach at-home-makerspace club members how to "make", through a clear demonstration video, can count toward recognition for community service for 8th Grade Promotion 2021. Please email Ms. GGMc at: ggies-mclaughlin@smmusd.org if you have any interest or interests.
Take care!
Please email me if you have a project/idea.:

I'll post your directions, video and/or images.
Let's keep our Makerspace Club active by involving our wider community.
With family or friends, find your LEGO collection. Choose a theme (our's was "function") and time allotment. Then, MAKE!

Dear Lincoln Community,
Right now, people are celebrating #GivingTuesday around the world — and it’s a very exciting day for our Club in particular.
I want to make sure our students have the materials they need to succeed, so I use DonorsChoose.org, the nonprofit classroom funding site for teachers.
Today only, when you support my Pop-up Club project, both you and I will be entered to win a $5,000 DonorsChoose.org gift code.
Here’s my teacher page:
Gifts of any size will enter both of us into the special classroom giveaway. Thank you so much for taking a look and considering a donation. I am so excited to bring my Makerspace Pop-up Club to the Library!
