Science Museum of Minnesota and authentic community engagement
SMM has been exploring its relationship with the community for decades, through projects such as Fusion Events and community advisory boards. This project emerged from the unrest and uprising following the murder of George Floyd in 2020, and our hope that the museum could support conversations in local communities about racial justice.
