At the beginning of each class period, students will complete a daily Bell Ringer. A Bell Ringer will consist of three questions based on the standard we are currently covering or have previously covered. These Bell Ringers are not for a grade, but could be used for reward card punches or other incentives. These are a great review for the students and provide for me a quick assessment of what the students are mastering versus what content I may need to provide more instruction and practice. The bell ringers are formatted the same as their benchmark givens throughout the year, which increases their familiarity with the Mastery Connect platform.

Each day, students will complete a section of their guided notes depending on which lesson we are on. This will include vocabulary, examples, and other important information they need to know for the standard we are learning. Students may use their guided notes for some assignments in class and at home. Guided notes will be stored in their binders so students have quick, easy access to them every day.

Red Box Reviews (RBR)- Lesson reviews with 5 questions on a previous lesson; might be a pop quiz or daily assignment! (Questions count -10 if missed, not -20)
