FFA was founded in 1928 as the Future Farmers of America to prepare students for leadership and careers in agriculture. In 1988, the organization became the National FFA Organization to reflect the broad range of agricultural career opportunities while continuing to use the letters "FFA."
Smith County Middle FFA was established in 2023, providing students with opportunities to explore agriculture, develop leadership skills, and begin their FFA journey at the middle school level in Smith County.
