Welcome to British and World Literature!
Bring to Class Students are responsible for keeping up with their textbooks and for bringing their textbook to class each day. For the first semester we will work out of Volume I. Leave Volume II at home or in your locker until after winter break.
These textbooks are consumables and can be written in.
Homework As a general rule, I do not assign homework for English III; however, in rare cases work that is unfinished in class could be sent home to complete. Students will have activities and comprehension checks to complete within their textbooks daily. Assessments will be given weekly on Google Classroom. For class each day students should bring these three things: Textbook, a pen/pencil, and your binder with notebook paper inside.
About the book Texts covered in Vol. 1 will be Beowulf, Macbeth, Speech Before her Troops, and Worms of the Earth Against the Lions.

Cheating and Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Copying and pasting someone else’s work will result in failing that assignment.
Food and Drinks: No food in class. Drinks are allowed; however, if you spill - it is your responsibility to clean it up.
Cell Phones: Cell phones will remain stowed in pockets during class and will not be taken to the bathroom. You will have an assigned number to remember for your cell phone pocket, Chromebook, and desk.
