PreK - More basic songs. Using fun songs to help students feel comfortable singing.
Kindergarten - Continuing with "Marching Around The Alphabet" Kindergarten students are really working hard at learning and following rules and they are doing great! We are going to continue with, "Marching Around The Alphabet" which allows students to practice following rules and utilize thinking skills in identifying the alphabet letters.
1st - "Old Brass Wagon" - After huge success reading through and singing our first song of the year we are onto our next. The "Old Brass Wagon" is a good song where students not only have to sing, but follow directions during the song and move in specific ways! What great practice for these little musicians! We will learn this song in steps which we will discuss and review, as we learn the song, the importance of learning some things in a sequential order.
2nd - "The Apple Song" - Second grade worked through their first song to huge success! Now for a song which requires a bit more out of them but a lot of fun. "The Apple Song", has a lot more words and a lot more correct pronunciation concerns. Hopefully, your kids will come home more interested in eating apples!
