Hello! My name is Ms. Loni, and I am so excited to be your child's 4th grade Science and Social Studies Teacher at Carthage Elementary School!

Although this is my second year as a classroom teacher, I have been part of the Carthage Elementary family for several years. I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Western Governors University and I am currently working toward my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Tennessee Tech University. I love learning new ways to help students grow both academically and personally.

My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels welcomed, respected, and encouraged to do their very best. I believe learning should be engaging, meaningful, and fun while helping students build confidence, responsibility, and a love for learning.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my three boys, reading, gardening, and being outdoors. I also love decorating for the seasons and making memories with my family.
