About me

Welcome to our classroom family! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year.

My Experience & Education This is my 9th year of teaching, and my heart is completely in special education. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education (K-12th), as well as a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction.

My Teaching Philosophy I deeply believe that every child can learn, grow, and thrive when given the right tools, patience, and support. Our classroom is a place where we celebrate every milestone together.

Hi! My name is Natoshia Sensabaugh! I am 40 years old and married with 2 kids-my daughter is 20 and my son is a sophomore at the high school. I was born and raised in Smith County and graduated from Smith County High School, where I played soccer. I enjoy reading,crafts, and sports, especially soccer, and I love being involved with kids and their activities. My family is my world, and I love spending time with them-and my doodle Winston 

Hi, I’m Ms. Heather Cooper! This will be my seventh year with the Smith County Board of Education, and I’m excited to be joining Smith County Middle School this year. I look forward to meeting everyone and having a great school year! 

My name is Melanie Candler this is my fifth year with the Smith County School System. After spending the past few years in elementary, I am excited to transition back to the middle school for the upcoming school year. I look forward to supporting my students, building positive relationships, and making this a great year of learning and growth.
