Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Shadow Mountain Red Cape Boosters at Phoenix Raceway!
Please note:
Signing up does not guarantee a volunteer shift. Your spot will be confirmed only after you complete the required training (details will be sent to you) and receive a confirmation message from the Red Cape Boosters.
Volunteers who no-showed for the last two events will not be eligible to sign up for this event.
Consistent attendance is critical since our group’s ability to participate depends on meeting our commitments.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation—reliable volunteers are the reason our program continues to thrive!
Positions available:
Concessions - Volunteers work food and beverage service stands throughout the venue. This position is commission-based, with group fundraising calculated as 10% of net sales generated during the assigned shift(s). Final proceeds are determined after the event based on total sales and staffing.
VIP Booth Food Runners - Located on the top floor of the stadium, this role supports approximately 50 VIP booths. Volunteers transport food from the kitchen or staging areas to individual suites. This position focuses on speed, accuracy, and teamwork in a high-energy environment.
VIP Booth Attendants - Attendants work directly with businesses that rent or own VIP booths, serving food and beverages to guests. This role requires a high level of professionalism and guest interaction.
This position may include gratuities at the discretion of guests. Any tips received may be donated to the volunteer’s club of choice or retained by the volunteer, subject to event guidelines.
Ice Truck - Volunteers sell bags of ice to race teams and support staff. Some Ice Truck locations are within restricted areas of the racetrack, where racecar drivers and pit crews operate. Volunteers must follow all access, credentialing, and safety requirements.
50/50 Raffle Sales - Volunteers sell raffle tickets to race fans during designated shifts around the track. Group fundraising is based on total raffle sales, with a minimum guaranteed payout if the minimum sales threshold is not met. Final proceeds are calculated after the event per contract terms.
Possible times (exact times to be announced):
Friday, 7:00am to 9:00pm
Saturday, 7:00am to 8:00pm
Sunday, 7:00am to 8:00pm
Important: Each day, you must confirm your placement by sending a text with your name to 623-760-5798. Failure to confirm will result in no attendance credit.
