Week of 3/30/20

For this week, your child is going to be creating a handprint flower bouquet. If you don't have different colored contruction paper at home, you can just color printer paper to be whatever color you'd like or need. The materials and directions are as follows:

Materials: White paper, construction paper (or colored in printer paper), glue stick

1. First trace the hand and part of the arm for the hand that will hold the bouquet.

2. Then trace one regular handprint in 5 different colors. You can do one handprint and use it to trace the others or you can trace all 5 separately.

3. Cut 5 long strips of green paper for the flower stems.

4. Glue the flower stems to the white paper first.

5. Glue the stems down, and then glue the handprint holding the flowers on top.

6. Glue the handprints to the top of the stems.

7. Now your handprint bouquet is finished!

When your bouquet is completed, please upload a picture of it to ClassDojo by Friday 4/3/20. Thank you so much!
