Hello Artists and Parents!

I am beyond thrilled to be the new Art teacher at Saint Martin de Porres! I am very much looking forward to embarking on this new adventure and seeing what amazing art the students create! 

Throughout the year, we will be learning about many artists, the elements of art, the principles of design and different artistic genres and styles. We will also be learning about and working with a variety of mediums, as well as practicing fun and exciting techniques. 

One of my goals for the students is to make Art a happy and positive experience for everyone, regardless of their artistic ability. Just like Pablo Picasso said, “Every child is an artist”. I hope to give each student an appreciation for the arts, old and new, and provide them with an environment that fosters and feeds their creativity; thereby helping them discover their inner artist.
