Art Room Rules
Students are expected to follow and uphold the rules of SMDP while in the Art Room.
Believe in yourself! Imagine, experiment, be creative and don't be afraid to make mistakes. Art isn't always about the finished product; it's about the journey.
Students are expected to be respectful to each other, the teacher, the supplies and themselves.
For safety reasons, all students should remain seated unless a particular lesson calls for them being out of their seats or unless given permission.
Students will be expected to clean up after themselves (age appropriately). Classroom jobs will be given (Supply Captain, Inventory Coordinator, Floor Enhancement Engineer, etc.)
A noise level chart is displayed at the front of the classroom; students should abide by this. There is also a doorbell in our classroom that will be used if and when the noise level is too loud, or if their attention is needed. Students are expected to stop, look and listen when they hear it.
A- Aim for your best and aim to do the right thing.
R- Respect yourself, each other, the teacher and the Art Room.
T- Trust in yourself and your ability to learn.
