Landmark Project ~ A 4th Grade Project
Your project will consist of three parts:
A typewritten paragraph about your landmark should include at least 7 good sentences. You can describe your landmark, location, and why you chose it. What does it look like, and was it constructed or is it a natural formation? It should be typed and displayed next to your landmark on a separate sheet of paper.
You will create your landmark from any natural material ( clay, boxes, etc., no Legos). If you choose to, you can draw your landmark; it should be on an 11x14 sheet of paper or larger. Please be neat and careful when displaying your project.
You will also give an oral report on your project. Please do not read your paragraph. You may also be asked questions about your Landmark, so you must be familiar with its location, history, age, etc.
The project will be assigned on Monday, March 16th, and due Monday, April 1st.
Please be sure your name is on your project and your paper. (-5pts. each)
Please be sure you are submitting your project on time. (-10pts. a day, illness or extenuating circumstances will be considered.)
