I began my teaching career in 1st grade in Cumberland, R.I. Along with my husband, I embarked on a journey that took us from Rhode Island to New Jersey, Pennsylvania, back to Rhode Island, then Wisconsin, Virginia, New Hampshire, and finally to North Carolina. I was very fortunate in North Carolina, where I started teaching 3rd grade at SMCS. I was blessed to teach and learn there for 13 wonderful years. After the restructuring due to COVID in 2020, I took a year off to be at home with my family.
From 2021 until 2023, I enjoyed being a kindergarten assistant for three years at Holy Trinity Catholic School in North Myrtle Beach.
Last summer, I was thrilled to notice an opportunity at SMCS, my North Carolina home. I am excited to be back and to work with the people who have my heart.
It was a blessing to watch my last third-grade class blossom into incredible 8th graders! I also enjoyed the hugs and visits from several alumni!
My first year back found me in fourth grade, meeting amazing families and old friends!
I look forward to continue to connect with all the wonderful families at SMCS once again. I truly feel blessed!
