The purpose of the Student Leadership Council is to address concerns that students have at LHS and improve the well being of its students. SLC is a new club brought by Harsha Manivannan to the principal, Mr. Copsey in early 2022.
The club was first started up in response to the discontinuance of the principal's advisory at LHS. Instead of continuing the original club, it was revamped to address LHS students to the highest capacity.
The SLC has been collaborating with other clubs, including the National Honor Society, Key Club, and Black Student Union.
