Course admins can submit on behalf of students-
In both secondary and elementary course themes, View Course As can submit an assignment for a student, enabling timely grading when students cannot upload work themselves.
Reminders include Missing or Absent exceptions-The Reminders panel shows submissions flagged Missing or Absent for Assignments and Discussions, helping teachers triage follow-ups
Elementary assignment submission option controls: Course admins can enable or disable specific submission options per assignment in the elementary experience to better match age-appropriate workflows.
Grading period selection persistence in Gradebook- The last chosen grading period persists when navigating within and across linked sections, cutting clicks during grading sessions.
New Assignments tab on the student Homepage-A centralized view of course materials from the Homepage reduces navigation load and helps students plan work.
