The application for Steamfitters' apprenticeship for the Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Process Piping, and Environmental Systems Trades opens on November 1, 2025 and closes on November 30, 2025. Online applications only.

SEAFARERS INTERNATIONAL UNION
A maritime based union and that offers the largest maritime unlicensed apprenticeship program in the United States. They offer a tuition free program that takes a little over a year to complete. They put both men and women to work in one of their three departments: Deck (which includes navigation, piloting and maintenance), steward (for those with a passion for culinary arts), and engine department (for those who are mechanical inclined.) IEC CHESAPEAKE 4- YEAR ELECTRICAL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM
An IECC Apprentice works full-time with an electrical contractor and attends classes two nights per week for four-years. This provides you with 8,000 hours of on-the-job and classroom training required for the Journeyperson Electrician's License.
