I would like to welcome you back from a very active summer! During this school year I will bring many opportunities for physical activity and healthy choices through Physical Education (PE). As they progress through a variety of skills, students will be assessed on their personal and social behavior in guidance with the St. Mary’s County Public Schools Physical Education curriculum. Please help your child come prepared for class by wearing clothes and shoes that are easy to move in and can be securely fastened. Participation will be limited if a student is not appropriately prepared for activity due to safety reasons. As safety is a concern, especially during movement please make sure water bottles can be and are firmly secured.
Various sport skills, movement concepts, nutrition, health fitness topics and team building activities will be explored throughout my curriculum. I look forward to creating a positive learning environment for your child along with fostering a partnership with you to help your child continue to make healthy choices.

If you wish to make a copy of the Ball of Life (pictured below) please click on this link ,using your SMCPS email address, which will force you to make a copy in your Google Drive. *Please note it works best if you click on Slideshow and use it in present mode after you save it.
