Assignment 17: Romero Britto Pop Art

this project can be used to introduce students to the artist romero britto. students can also be introduced to the elements of line, shape and color. students will use tools like shape, polyline,border line, and fill color.

Pop art-Pop art is an art movement that emerged in the United Kingdom and the United States during the mid- to late-1950s. The movement presented a challenge to traditions of fine art by including imagery from popular and mass culture, such as advertising, comic books and mundane mass-produced objects.

Cubism-An avant garde art movement. Cubist artists brought different views of subjects together in one picture which made the image appear fragmented or abstracted.

Romero Britto-Romero Britto is a Brazilian artist, painter, serigrapher, and sculptor. He combines elements of cubism, pop art, and graffiti painting in his work, using vibrant colors and bold patterns as a visual expression of hope, dreams, and happiness.
