Morning Walk

Morning walk is one of the many reasons our school was chosen for these awards! We are proud to be one of America's Healthiest Schools!

Morning Walk begins at 7:45. You can enter through the back door of the gym. Please be sure that your student enters the building before you drive away. Students wear pedometers and record their steps. Prizes are awarded for mileage and attendance. We also discuss healthy snacks that students can prepare themselves. Students are dismissed into the school at 8:15. Everyone in the CPCS family is welcome to attend. How do you start your day?

Inclimate Weather: If we have a one or two hour delay... there will be NO morning walk.

Prizes are charms that student add to a shoelace necklace. This is a great social time for our students. We listen to music from "Kidzbop."
