Look at the numbers on the mailboxes. Can you read each number? Can you put them in order from least to greatest? Can you add them altogether? Can you multiply all of the numbers?
Look at this window. What patterns do you see? How would you count these windows?
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6…
2, 4, 6…
6 + 6 = 12
3 x 4 = 12
Can you find other things in your house that come in groups? How would you count those groups?
If this is an acute angle, what would an obtuse angle piece of pizza look like? Which would you rather eat? Do other foods have angles?
What math can you find when you're cooking?
