Visit the CBEEP Network Website for information about the networks goals, outcomes, and structure.

Key Terms

Community Based Partner (CBP): A community based partner organization, sometimes referred to as a provider, is a non-profit or community group that provides environmental education experiences to schools.

Environmental Experience: For the purposes of this dashboard an environmental experience is any educational program provided by the CBP's to schools. Environmental educational experiences come in many different formats including on-site activities (assemblies, guest lectures, etc.), field trips, and immersive outdoor education (overnight camps). Some organizations work with partners for more than one environmental experience per group or per school year.

District School Size: Charter schools associated with a public school district are included in the list of schools within each school district as appropriate. Currently the CBEEP Network is not providing visualizations for participating Private Schools in San Mateo County.

Unduplicated Percent:  Unduplicated Pupil percent is the percentage of students who are eligible for free or reduced-price meal (FRPM), are English learners (EL), and/or who are foster youth.

Participating Community Based Partner Organizations

The following CBP's contributed program data to this dashboard. It should be noted that there are numerous other organizations that provide environmental education experiences for SMC schools, which if added to this data set would expand the impact of these types of programs in San Mateo County schools (see the Green Guardians website for a comprehensive list of environmental education partner organizations).
