some things you may want to convey to your summer advisor

• Are you currently, or do you intend to work any jobs that may conflict with class schedules?

• Are you in any sports? Do you know your practice schedule already?

• Do you have any reason to believe you would struggle at certain times of the day (for example, if you take a medication that makes you drowsy at night so you should not enroll in any evening courses). To be clear, we do not expect you to share medical information, but with a heads up we can try our best to suggest a schedule that will work for you.

• Do you need any information regarding academic accommodations? Your summer advisor won't necessarily be able to answer all of your questions but can point you in the right direction.

• Will you be a commuter?  Will this affect what days or times  you could be on campus?

• Is there anything else you feel it is important that we know?

Have your Course Selection Worksheet with you during your upcoming one-on-one virtual summer advising meeting. Some advisors may want to see it in advance--you can email them a picture of your hard copy, email them your downloaded copy, or share it as a Google doc by clicking the "share" button in the top right of your Google doc. This will help them get you set up for this fall!
