MAT students typically have three housing options:
Off campus with other students or recent graduates
On campus
At home
It's more expensive to live on campus; however, there are obvious benefits. If you can put together a townhouse worth of MAT students or would like a single, you can live on campus. If you're interest in this option, contact the Office of Residence Life. Occasionally MAT students live with undergraduates, but this is difficult, as the undergraduates are still on a college schedule but the MAT students are waking up and going to bed early.
Advice from previous MAT students:
"If you live with other MAT students, set boundaries about how much you will talk about it. Don't let the MAT fully consume you."
If you want to live off campus, see below for housing options that previous cohorts have reviewed.
Advice from past cohorts: Set up your internet BEFORE the MAT begins. You do NOT want to suffer through the first few weeks of the program without internet access.
