About Me
My Ph.D., is in Clinical Psychology, and broadly speaking, both my work focuses on a functional contextual understanding of aggression, violence, & trauma.
As a researcher, I have experience conducting both correlational & experimental research using both cross-sectional & longitudinal methods.
As a clinician, I am trained as a functional contextual behaviorist. I have experience in using evidence-based practices including ACT, DBT, CBT, CPT, & PE. More specifically, I have experience working with folks with trauma experiences using an intersectional perspective.
As a professor & mentor, my aim is to utilize inclusive & dynamic teaching practices to educate students about issues in clinical psychology, mental health & wellbeing, and research methods.
