Want to browse our library collection for ideas? Need space to stretch out and collaborate with colleagues? Just need a new environment to get some work done? Come on over to CITL's physical space in the Library Annex!
Do you have questions about teaching? Thinking of making changes in your classroom practices? You don't have to do it alone! We can help you brainstorm ideas, find resources, and research evidence-based approaches.
Want an outside opinion on your course design? Looking to improve a specific teaching approach? Want a neutral party to provide formative feedback before going up for promotion? We are happy to help! This service involves a pre-meeting to discuss goals, a classroom observation or course design review, and debrief before creating a written summary report. Feedback will be tailored to the instructor's needs, but can involve tools such as GORP, OLC Scorecards, VALUE rubrics, and EQUIP or more discipline-specific measures such as MCOP 2, LOPUS, and CDOP.
Is your department considering curriculum changes? Do you want to create a strategic plan for your program? CITL can facilitate sessions for departmental teams to explore their vision, create consensus, and determine a plan of action. Based upon principles of dynamic governance, this facilitation specifically emphasizes the contribution of all voices, and consent within the group.
CITL can help with every step of your scholarly teaching project, from experimental and survey design, IRB applications, interviews, quantitative data analysis, qualitative coding and data analysis, identifying publication venues, and manuscript review.
