College classrooms have always been identified as spaces where difficult and challenging discussions can--and should--occur. As we know, facilitating these conversations has become even more necessary but also increasingly fraught. Barrett Emerick (PHIL) and Amy Steiger (TDPS) will team up to guide us through reflections, processes, and conversational moves that can help us create/broaden the space we need to offer to our students for such important work.
This is a training session in 2 parts; it will be led by Kristan Thomas, with support from Jennifer Falkowski in OIT. The training will be held in the 3rd floor media lab in Baltimore Hall; there is no Zoom option.
