Previous Placement Information

The placement I received for my Teaching Education 407 and 408 classes took place at MacDonald Middle School in East Lansing, Michigan. The demographic of the student population shifted to encompass a minority of students of diverse backgrounds; however, the financial demographic displayed a wide array of economic  backgrounds. I completed interning Spring 2020 at DeWitt Middle School in DeWitt, Michigan. This school is located in a rural setting, and embraces diversity. I am student teaching with Mrs. Evelyn Gray; the link to her website can be followed by clicking on her name. I taught Anatomy, Biology, and Computer Science at Saint Mary Catholic Central High School in Monroe, Michigan from Fall 2020-Spring 2023. Here I am excited to continue growing as an educator and learning from the incredible teachers around me, "standing on the shoulders of giants". Teaching at this school also offers me the chance to continue growing in my faith- providing a window for a Christ- centered lifestyle. This school is a family oriented community.
