Teaching Resume
Philosophy of Teaching Statement
I am very excited to now be an alumnus from Michigan State University, as of May 2019. I received a Bachelors Degree in Interdepartmental Biology with an Integrated Science Endorsement (DI). I recently completed my student teaching (or "internship") at DeWitt Middle School in a 7th grade Science class, while I complete the requirements necessary to attain my teaching credential at MSU, and reach the halfway mark in my Masters Degree. I just finished my third year as the Biology, Anatomy, and Computer Science teacher at Saint Mary Catholic Central High School in Monroe, MI. I am currently teaching at Academy of the Sacred Heart in Bloomfield Hills, MI. It is my goal to continue improving as a science teacher as well as a Catholic, and an individual.
In my free time I enjoy playing volleyball, snow skiing, running, playing the clarinet, hiking, and reading. I also love to travel, and often enjoy visiting zoos, state/national parks throughout Michigan and the US- I could never stop learning! I have been to a total of 49 out of 50 states; I am currently missing Alaska, but hope to visit both some day.
