ABSTRACT

One of the uses of banana fronds waste is to recycle it into paper. This is done so that the waste can be used as paper and crafts and does not pollute the environment. Therefore, this research will discuss how to process banana fronds waste into paper.

The author conducted research at a company called Banana Paper, which is a company that makes paper from banana fronds waste. In an innovative way, Banana Paper can process banana fronds waste into an item that has a high selling value.

This research will discuss the process of processing banana fronds into paper, as well as the differences between the Abaka banana tree and the local banana tree. In addition, the author will also discuss the differences between Banana Paper and other papers.
