I'm Shubham Pande, currently pursuing a Direct PhD in Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), India. I also had the opportunity to be a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), USA where I worked with Prof. Dmitri Strukov.
My academic journey started with a B.Tech degree from SGGSIE&T, Vishnupuri, Nanded, India in 2016.
My research interests center around the application of emerging memory technologies for unconventional computing. I specialize in device physics, electrical characterization, simulations, and device modeling. My prior work includes studying electrothermal effects in semiconductor devices and contributing to the development of a low-cost BiCMOS process compatible with SCL’s 180nm CMOS technology in collaboration with the Department of Space, Government of India.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading (science, philosophy, history) books, listening to music, and traveling. I find that these activities often provide fresh perspectives and inspiration for my work.
