I am a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Communications and Signal Processing, at the esteemed IIT Madras. Under the mentorship of Prof. Radhakrishna Ganti, my research is generously funded by the Prime Minister’s Research Fellow (PMRF) Scheme. My doctoral work delves into the realm of Machine Learning for the Physical Layer within the context of 5G and Beyond 5G networks.
Prior to my doctoral studies, I completed my Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from NIT Agartala in 2020. As part of an academic collaboration between NIT Agartala and IIT Madras, I have undertaken coursework equivalent to the fourth year at IIT Madras.
My research interests predominantly lie in exploring the applications of Machine Learning in Wireless Communications, particularly focusing on the advancements brought about by 5G and the upcoming technologies Beyond 5G. In addition to my academic pursuits, I actively participate as a delegate representing IIT Madras in 3GPP RAN1 meetings. Within the RAN1 working group, I am currently engaged in contributing Technical Documents (TDocs) with a specific focus on Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) and Ambient Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.
