Getting Access

Computer Centre has created accounts for all faculty - you may have already received an email about this, or can try and recover your account yourself. The recovery email has been set to username@iitm.ac.in (in general - there may be exceptions, please contact CC if so).

Step 1: Go to Gmail and try to sign in. Note that if you are already signed in, you will need to “Add a new account”.

Step 2: If you already have your password, ignore this. Else use the “Forgot password” link to recover your account.

Step 3: Assuming you have never logged in before, use “Try another way”

Step 4: Enter your recovery email address, which should be the iitm email address.

Step 5: Enter the recovery code sent to this address here, and set a new password for your smail account.
