I am the Prime Minister Research Fellow in the Applied Mechanics department at Indian Institute of Technology Madras. I am working at Particles and Waves (PAW) Laboratory with Dr. Anubhab Roy. My research focuses on studying the translation and orientation dynamics of a spheroidal particle in an upper part of the ocean. The motivation behind this is to understand the transportation of microplastics in a wavy and turbulent flow background present in the ocean.
