Undergraduate/Postgraduate students 

For short-term research projects, please contact Mamata at m.bangera@iitm.ac.in for openings and prospects. Students applying for internships are strongly encouraged to apply for the Summer Fellowship Programme at IIT Madras, Indian Academy of Sciences or other such recognised programs.

M.S./Ph.D. students

Interested candidates, please apply through the IIT Madras Research Admission portal. Ph.D. graduate students are admitted to the group after completing lab rotations.

Postdoctoral candidates

The lab is seeking applicants with an interest in protein biochemistry, biophysics and structural biology. Prior experience in protein purification, electron microscopy or 3D protein structure determination is preferred but not expected. Please check out fellowship opportunities at IIT Madras here.
