STREAM classes are designed to be hands-on, project-based and provide students with a unique opportunity to delve into practical applications of their academic pursuits. In the first STREAM course Product Design I, students acquire skills in areas such as, 3D printing, 2D laser cutting, and circuit design with Arduino. Putting these skills to the test, they collaborate to construct an escape room for the incoming cohort of STREAM students, fostering teamwork and creativity.

Course Overview
Product Design I and II focus on the engineering and design of making unique products that solve problems. Students will learn engineering skills and fabrication techniques required to make quality designs. The courses also cover the nuances of working with clients, meeting their needs, and ethics of design.Â
Introduction to Engineering is a foundational course. Students will learn how to use the Engineering Design Process (EDP) to solve problems. Learning will happen through a combination of structured activities and open-ended projects, which will help develop quantitative reasoning, spatial thinking, planning, documentation, and communication skills.
