And the next Jr. Bill Baseball Beast is .... Kiran Hunt & Jonathan Smith!
The 2023 Jr. Bill Baseball Beast competition took place February 24th at the Baseball Clubhouse. Twenty-four baseball players/prospects competed in the 5 power & strength events, including a weighted sled push, weighted sled pull, weighted bag fireman's carry, dumbbell bear crawl and Atlas ball lift. The players were divided into two divisions (Light and Heavy) and four classes (Flyweight, Welterweight, Middleweight, and Heavyweight) according to their weight . An overall winner for each division was identified, as well as the top three finishers for each class.
This year's winners were Tommy Etling (Upperclassmen Division) and Jonathan Smith (Underclassmen Division). Both are two-time Beast Champions. See results below.
