Comprehensive exams are generally taken in the last semester of classes because exam questions encompass material you learned throughout your program. Each program has slightly different approaches to the comprehensive exams, therefore, please consult with your advisor if you have questions about comprehensive exams. Some programs provide study guides or sample questions. Please consult your advisor or program director for more information about preparing for your comprehensive exam.
Please see the comprehensive exam deadlines to ensure timely registration for comprehensive exams.
