The Madrid (Spain) campus of Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, service, and healthcare, invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Engineering, to begin in September 2026.
The successful candidate should have teaching and scholarly interests across core areas of computer engineering, including, but not limited to, computer architecture and high-performance computing, robotics and automation, control systems, cybersecurity, networking and communications, data science and machine learning, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Candidates are expected to demonstrate proficiency in laboratory-based instruction in both electrical and computer engineering. Teaching responsibilities will include advising undergraduate capstone projects, as well as serving as an academic advisor and mentor to undergraduate students.
The candidate should also demonstrate excellence in research and scholarly activity. While all faculty are expected to prioritize teaching and research, service to the department, campus, and university is also an important component of the role. A valid work permit for Spain is preferred.
