Thank you for your interest in the Belize Business Immersion Experience
Saint Louis University Chaifetz School of Business students may choose to spend their Spring Break in beautiful Punta Gorda, Belize! Here, you'll find more information on the trip, getting ready, and more. If you have any questions, feel free to email Ben Smyth and Brittany Ludwig.
The Belize Business Immersion allows undergraduate Chaifetz School of Business students an opportunity to learn about social entrepreneurship and economic development from Belizean business owners. Students will engage with entrepreneurs of small businesses and local farmers to understand the process of sourcing of raw materials in the supply chain. Participants will also explore the cultural history of the Belizean Maya people, gaining an understanding of ancestral land ownership and current social issues currently impacting the Maya people and businesses in Belize.
We will be spending the week in Punta Gorda, which is in southern Belize. You can learn more about Belize's history, the Punta Gorda area, and population here.
