What is the CUBB Lab?
The Collaborative Undergraduate Billiken Behavior (CUBB) Lab was established to provide psychology majors with hands-on experience to develop and practice research skills in a collaborative research lab format. Priority registration for most students will be given to Psychology majors with no previous experience working in a psychology research lab. There may be few enrollment opportunities for seasoned undergraduate research assistants to serve as mentors.
Interested in joining the CUBB Lab?
Members of the CUBB Lab must:
be a Psychology major in good standing
be able to attend lab meetings during the semester
be willing to register for credit with instructor permission (PSY 4800-17)
have successfully completed PSY2050 before the semester begins
be eager to learn about research
be comfortable working in teams
To start the process, interested students must complete an interest form that is emailed to students. Please note priority registration will be given to students with little-to-no previous experience working as a research assistant in a psychology lab and to students based on seniority (seniors have the highest level of priority).
