Before you apply, please make sure you qualify for membership. You must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for induction:
Completion of at least 3 semesters or 5 quarters of college courses.
At SLU, this means you are only eligible for membership Spring semester of sophomore year at the earliest.
Completion of 9 credit hours of psychology, 6 of which must be completed at SLU.
You must be registered for a psychology or neuroscience major or minor, or another program that is psychological in nature.
Undergraduates must:
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
Rank in the upper 35% of their class in general scholarship
Have a psychology GPA of 3.30 or higher
Graduate students must:
Have an average grade of “B” or better in all graduate courses, including psychology
Receive two-thirds affirmative vote of those present at a regular meeting of the chapter.
Maintain regular attendance with no more than 1 unexcused absence per semester

You will be asked to do the following:
Pay the one-time membership fee of $75 where $60 is paid to the National Office and $15 is paid to the local chapter. The $60 can be paid online via a link sent from the National Office upon acceptance. The $15 can be paid a variety ways which the Membership Coordinator will communicate with you.
Attend the mandatory initiation ceremony and general body meetings thereafter
