Purpose
Psi Chi is an international honor society whose purpose shall be to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship of the individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology, and to advance the science of psychology.

SLU is one of the 1,300 chapters of Psi Chi. Originally chartered on SLU's campus in 1955, Psi Chi has helped connect over 2,050 students to the psychological field via research opportunities, advancements in the field, and networking within the psychology department for over 65 years.
