"Sing! Say! Dance! Play!" - Jane Frazee

Welcome to the Music Room at Park Spanish Immersion Elementary! We're a music making community that prides itself in uplifting the spirit, empowering the mind, and celebrating creativity through music. Together, we use music as a means to find the web of interconnectedness that is the human experience. Music is storytelling in the most creative way; we make music to breathe the air today that gives life to tomorrow. Come learn with us; explore the site to learn more!

2nd Grade students have been learning about instruments found in a European and American Orchestra. We've had fun reading books like "Tubby the Tuba" and have been playing online aural identification games. But have you ever been to Orchestra Hall in Downtown Minneapolis?

Check out the link to opportunities through the Minnesota Orchestra's Family Concert Program . A concert of family friendly music like John Williams' Star Wars will take the stage in March, and a sensor-friendly concert is offered in early May. Bring the beauty and fun of the Orchestra to your entire family!

Wavin' Flag - K'Naan feat. David Bisbal

Check out Wavin' Flag, the official song of the FIFA World Cup 2009. Students LOVE the dance taught by Señora Reyes! Students have been asking to have this song posted, so they can dance at home! Ask your child for an at-home performance of this amazing dance!
