Additional unlimited, simultaneous use class sets are available through the NY Reads Collection. All titles can be assigned to as many users as needed for any length of time. Users must first add this collection to their Sora account; Follow the video or written directions here and browse the full list of titles to see what is available. You can access additional reference and research ebooks through your school library. To access specific titles from the lists below, search for the title in your library's online catalog. These ebooks cannot be assigned through Sora, but do offer unlimited, simultaneous use without an individual login. All titles can also be accessed through the Gale Ebooks or Rosen Interactive Ebooks links on your school library's Search database page.

NY Reads is a collection of 'always available' ebooks and audiobooks.
In the Sora menu, click on the blue "+ Add Library" button and search for "NY Reads". The first time you borrow a title, you may be prompted to choose your school and sign-in again.

New York residents ages 13+ may apply for a free New York Public Library card online.
Use the "+ Add Library" button in Sora once you've signed up on the NYPL website. The first time you check out a title, you will be asked to input your library card number.
Anyone who lives, works, goes to school, or pays property taxes in New York is eligible for a free Brooklyn Public Library card, which will give access to BPL's entire digital collection. (Users under age 12 will need parent permission).

St. Lawrence-Lewis school districts may purchase units of Sora content credit through the 508 CoSer, or can work with the School Library System to add district funds directly to existing District Advantage accounts. This helps your school meet specific district needs and can give access to popular titles to your students first. Additional features like title assignments, class set purchases, and tracking assignment progress are available within District Advantage collections as well.
